I would be able to offer some good sound advice to anyone suffering with the condition of (autism) and related issues and really have empathy with people suffering from it. I know sometimes the medical profession will tell you that there"s no medication for it. "Somehow you just have to learn to fit in."
At the time when I heard this some 9 years ago in Hamilton NZ I was still having problems with it and wasn"t that comfortable in groups of people and it was for me a hard road ahead. Luckily, I"ve grown out of it and learned so much I"m fine now and have been for some time, I just find the world a harsh, money orientated and judmental dangerous place for anybody. It seems to me that for people with the condition or who have had it in the past that this is the wrong era to live in with too much information all around and too much danger. Personally I would of much preferred myself to have been around 100 years ago, much simpler then and hard work never scared me.
Hard people and judgement and seemingly when I was younger people playing silly little social games upset me more when I was on the wrong side of it.
A Priviledged Life - Or Was It? My Asbergers Story By Matt Gordon
Print: $10.78
An extraordinarily interesting story about a guy who was born with a form of autism, Aspergers syndrome & didn't find out till he turned 25. At the time of writing this was 32 years old & had survived many years of silent suffering as well as more obvious suffering that affected others around me. There's all of it in this story, rejection, isolation, trying to fit in but not succeeding & so trying again & again to no avail. There are stories about running & running & running & going round in circles... but there were some small successes in his life doing home schooling or correspondence & an interesting albeit spoilt upbringing in a middle class family. The story is about how it all started out ok but ended up going terribly wrong & how this young man came out of it eventually, or did he? This story was written in an attempt to assist those people out there directly affected, or who knows someone affected in some way by autism or Aspergers syndrome.
